Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
This was by far one of the best steak fajitas I have had in a long time. This place is an oasis in the middle of nowhere…
My husband and I love bringing our granddaughter here. She lives their food and so do we. But their service is not always the best... they could definitely do better in the service department.
Lively and Colourful Place!! I've been to the Blytheville area several times over the past couple of years for work. I've eaten at many of the local spots and this time I decided not to have barbecue, steak or a grilled Ceasar salad. I've driven by Las Brisas several times, and I've heard great things about it but never stopped in. On this visit, I decided to change that. I drove up and walked in and to my surprise, I had entered a very lively and colorful restaurant. Las Brisas has very charming decor, with pictures, colorful molds and depictions of traditional Mexican life back in the good ole' days. One this visit, Las Brisas was just starting to fill up for the dinner rush, so my server sat me right away. He was a funny and great person who took his time and lead me through quite a vast menu. Boom, the still-hot nachos hit the table, and the house-made sauce was dipped into and I have to say it was very enjoyable. I asked for some of the hotter sauce which my server was more than happy to bring out to me. Yes, it was a little spicier but not overwhelming. So now for my order..after listening to all the recommendations I decided on the Chicken Tortilla Soup. This soup is a dinner size potion, I mean, I was warned but did not heed the warning, this soup is huge!!! It was rich and full of juicy pieces of chicken and fish with vegetables, and topped with homemade tortillas, how I finished it, is beyond me. I then had one of the house favorites, the Camarones a la Mexicana, a delicious dish with tender, fresh pieces of shrimp. The rice and the lettuce and everything else on the plate served to make it a great meal. I had to roll myself out of the restaurant and suffered a serious food coma after, but hey I should have listened to my server...right? Heres what you'll get if you stop into Las Brisas, great food at an affordable price, friendly servers and all the calories you can handle. I love the place. I'll be back. Please note, that this is a 'family' restaurant and they do not serve alcohol.
Excellent food! I wish I didn't live states away, this is a great place to eat. Kid friendly. Had a great waiter. Many, many options and great margaritas. You get a chance, check it out!!
There's enough parking. It's conveniently located right off of the interstate. The pricing is decent. The atmosphere is inviting. The wait staff is efficient, though their English may be difficult at times. The food is always hot and fresh, and they have a large selection.
On our way to Atlanta. Stopped by here and had a great dinner. Surfaces, very good in the places.Absolutely huge!
Great Carme asada. Steak was well seasoned, and tender enough. Beans and rice were cooked just right. Good service. 2nd time here 2-17-24. Had the chicken tortilla soup. The soup had great flavor. 3rd time here 5-17-24. Had the chicken enchiladas verdes. Everything had great flavor with the exception of the cheese. The cheese had cheap flavor, would recommend to request cheese on the side.
Not crazy over the salsa. Had to add salt to that But the meal was very good. And the service was excellent. It was extremely crowded. I also ordered cheese dip for my chips. My only complaint about that is it come out with the food. So I wasted my money on that.
